Consulting for Product & Game Analytics in Web3 & Blockchain Gaming

I help game studios and decentralized app teams turn player behaviour into reliable data, so you can ship features that retain users, not just attract them.

Meet Rudolf, Our Principal Consultant

For a recent Web3 gaming client, I partnered with engineering and data science teams to build their analytics foundation from scratch. That included designing an event taxonomy, instrumenting frontend and backend telemetry with TypeScript/JavaScript, and shipping automated S3 → BigQuery exports alongside Mixpanel and Segment integrations.

Before consulting, I spent years at Zynga building backend APIs and core game systems for Words With Friends and Boggle With Friends. There, I owned the analytics tracking layer that powered live-ops decisions across millions of daily active players. Today, I lead the engineering team at a Canadian fintech, where I architect production-grade systems using Python, Django, TypeScript, React, and Kubernetes. This hybrid background in high-scale gaming, regulated fintech, and web3 gives me a rare perspective on performance, security, and data integrity.

Over my career, I’ve architected tracking solutions using Google Analytics, Optimizely, FullStory, Hotjar, Mixpanel, and Segment always prioritizing schema stability, developer experience, and long-term maintainability over quick fixes.

I hold a CAPM certification and am a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), which ensures every system I deliver is both well-planned and operationally resilient.

Teaching & Technical Writing

A core part of my practice is leaving teams better than I found them. I’ve taught Django, React, Angular, and reactive Python to thousands of developers through official LinkedIn Learning courses. I’ve written technical articles for over a decade on engineering management, API design, and performance optimization, and have spoken at PyCon Canada, and the Toronto Node.js meetup. My work has been quoted in O’Reilly publications, and I prioritize clear documentation and repeatable runbooks so your team owns the system after I leave.

If you need a production-ready analytics pipeline, hands-on team training, or technical content that builds credibility, let’s scope it out.
